Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass to Give Welcome Remarks at 7th Annual POSiBLE L.A. Entrepreneur Summit Geared Towards Local Latino Business Owners to Grow Their Businesses

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Univision Los Angeles announced its 7th annual POSiBLE L.A. Entrepreneur Summit. In this one-day event, aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners can attend seminars designed to help them adapt and grow their businesses. This year, POSiBLE L.A. will return in person and will continue to focus on helping Latino business owners launch, sustain, and grow their businesses in a post-pandemic climate. The event will take place on Saturday, October 14 starting at 8:30 a.m. at East Los Angeles College. The event will commence with welcome remarks by Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.

Before opening a business based on an idea, it is important to do research on the business you want to open. The session will give detailed steps on how to open a new business.
  • Your Financial Map Geared Towards a Successful Business (Tu Mapa Financiero Hacia Un Negocio Exitoso): Moderated by Liliana Garcia, POSiBLE Radio Host. A financial plan is essential and important to launch a new business as it gives a clear vision of the financial wellness of your business. This session will show how and where to find financial resources from traditional and commercial loans and other alternatives.
  • Tactics To Attract Clients and Grow Your Business (Tácticas para atraer clientes y crecer tu negocio): Moderated by Fernanda Kelly, Small Business Owner and TV/Radio Host. One of the biggest challenges for any small business owner comes when they ask themselves how they will attract clients. This session will share important tactics that will help your clientele continue to grow.
  • Don’t Be Afraid of the Digital Space, Explore It and Grow (No le tengas miedo al espacio digital, explóralo y crece): Moderated by Octavio Valdez, Anchor, Univision Los Angeles Noticias 34. Digital literacy has become essential for all businesses, despite its size. Having a good digital presence is key in order to promote your brand. This session will show you how to create campaigns that will help grow your revenue.
