Enterprise Florida Leads More than 40 State Businesses to MRO Europe

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Led by Enterprise Florida (EFI), more than 40 Florida companies will join the MRO Europe trade show in London. The trade show will take place from October 19-20 and is the largest in the continent with more than 7,000 attendees and more than 400 exhibitors. Florida will also host a pavilion showcasing the state’s cutting-edge products and services in the world of aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul.

“Enterprise Florida is thrilled to bring this talented group of state businesses for this incredible opportunity to learn and to expand their work,” said Florida Deputy Secretary of Commerce Laura DiBella. “Trade missions give Florida companies the opportunity to highlight their products and services while building relationships with partners around the world. This exposure, in turn, provides a boost in awareness of all companies thriving in Florida; the best place in the world to start, locate, and grow a business.”

MRO Europe is the largest aviation trade show held in the continent, attracting decision makers from across the world. In addition, the show will draw more than 8,000 trade visitors representing an array of aviation companies, including commercial airlines and cargo carriers.

To ensure small and mid-sized businesses can attend, EFI offers Target Sector Trade Show Grants to help them participate in the show and generate or increase overseas sales. Fifteen companies benefitted from the Grant and are attending the conference.

“EFI is proud to support all Florida businesses that can compete globally in the world of aviation maintenance,” said TJ Villamil, Enterprise Florida SVP of International Trade & Development. “Our state’s economic profile continues to expand under Governor Ron DeSantis’ leadership. Sharing the products and services offered by dozens of our state’s businesses at this event will build and strengthen existing ties and create more positive economic outcomes and jobs for the Sunshine State.”
