Wellington, FL. May 2021. In 2001, a company called Webgistix was Founded. A couple of years after their initial start, Webgistix went on to open facilities in both Las Vegas and Reno, NV. Shortly after these new facilities were opened, Webgistix was acquired by Rakuten, Inc. This new acquisition only brought further growth for the previous team at Webgistix and the new Rakuten, Inc.
With new facilities opening up every couple of years all over the United States, Rakuten SUPER LOGISTICS also acquired FirstMile and IFS360 in 2019. Since then, Rakuten has gone full speed ahead by providing their customers a high-quality global fulfillment network that has provided online retailers and consumers with fast, accurate, and efficient distribution solutions for borderless eCommerce.
