American Airlines with new services from Miami to Tel Aviv and Paramaribo

American Airlines reinforces its commitment to its Miami hub with the announcement of two new international routes to Tel Aviv (TLV) and Paramaribo, Suriname (PBM) at the start of the summer. The airline is also introducing two new domestic routes from its Miami hub to Little Rock, Arkansas (LIT) and Portland, Maine (PWM), which will operate June 5 and August 16. Tickets for the flights will be available to purchase on February 15.
In addition, two new routes to Mexico were included, the first from Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) to Mérida (MID), and the second from Los Angeles (LAX) to Cancun (CUN).

Growth in Latin America and the Caribbean
American has continued to increase its capacity to Latin America and the Caribbean by upgrading aircraft and adding more services. This summer, American is planning 16% more capacity to the region from Miami (MIA) compared to 2019.
With significant travel demand to Latin America and the Caribbean, American will double capacity in Colombia and Peru, while increasing more than 50% capacity in Ecuador and 24% capacity in Central America compared to 2019. This summer the The airline is also adding service to the region from its Charlotte (CLT), Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Los Angeles (LAX) hubs. The additions to the Caribbean include a new destination to Samaná (AZS), operated seasonally from CLT, as well as a seasonal service from DFW to San Martín (SXM) and Santa Lucía (UVF).

New international routes start from the south
American will complement the recently announced service from New York (JFK) to TLV with flights from MIA to TLV that will begin June 4, will be made three times a week and will operate on the Boeing 777-200. Customers will have the option of choosing Flagship Business Class with seats that convert to bed; Premium Economy class or Main Cabin on the 12-hour flight. The airline intends to offer kosher food on pre-order, and kosher wine on board.

Starting in July, American will also be the first and only US airline to offer continuous service to PBM. The flights will operate five times a week on an Airbus 319, with a convenient schedule for customers traveling through the United States to connect at MIA. Suriname, as a new destination for the airline, becomes the ninth country in South America where the service is provided.

This year, customers can also expect more frequencies to the Caribbean from MIA. For example, Port-au-Prince (PAP) will increase to five daily flights from April; and Santiago (STI) and Santo Domingo (SDQ), in the Dominican Republic, will operate four and seven daily flights, respectively. In addition to service to PAP from MIA, the airline will offer an additional daily flight from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) to PAP, beginning April 2.

MIA will also increase service to Latin America, with 12 destinations seeing more frequencies this summer compared to 2019. Last year, the airline introduced the Boeing 787-8 aircraft at the Miami hub, offering additional capacity to a number of of destinations. That service includes Bogotá (BOG), Medellín (MDE) and Cali (CLO) in Colombia; Guayaquil (GYE) and Quito (UIO) in Ecuador; Lima, Peru (LIM); PAP; and Santiago de Chile (SCL).

Starting June 5, the airline will launch Saturday service from MIA to LIT and PWM. This is the first time American will operate this service during the summer months, providing Little Rock and Portland customers with more options to visit sunny South Florida or seamlessly connect to one of the many destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean. .
