Port Everglades Terminal, LLC (PET) will be deploying a new community web portal to replace its current Forecast Online in September 2020. A final Go-Live date will be announced on Monday, August 31. Through Advent’s eModal platform, PET shall transition from Forecast Online for container tracking and tracing, online fee payment for imports and exports related services, import container appointments and export container pre-arrival notices for all transaction types.
If you haven’t already registered with eModal we ask that you take the time to register those persons within your organization that currently use Forecast Online to plan the movement containers through our facility. Once we go live with eModal, Forecast Online will no longer be accessible to non-shipping line users. Therefore it is of the utmost importance that you take the time to register with eModal no later than the day prior to Teams Meeting you may choose to attend. It’s important to mention that each user must have their own email address at registration. Existing registered emails or attempts to duplicate an email is not allowed and will be rejected. To assist those unfamiliar with eModal, Advent and PET will offer several training sessions tailored towards BCOs and separate sessions designed for Motor Carriers. The reason being that registered users can view cargo availability, plan export bookings, and pay for import and export related service fees, but only Motor Carriers may set appointments for import containers and pre-arrivals for export containers.
The training schedule for Tuesday, Aug 18 will have three (3) sessions for motor carrier dispatch training and one (1) training session for BCO users. Please take a few moments to add the meeting invitations to your calendar.
