On the other hand, the GMCVB highlighted that the Tidal Cove Water Park was inaugurated at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. The iconic Adventure complex that both visitors and club members appreciate, announced the opening of the Tidal Cove Waterpark with a 60-foot tower with seven water slides, a 4,000-square-foot children’s pool with a water play structure, the first FlowRider® Triple simulation pool in the nation and an additional VIP pool area for adults. The outdoor recreation area adds five acres of pools with decks to the resort. Tidal Cove is the newest service in the multimillion dollar expansion and renovation of JW Marriott Miami Turnberry and will be available to resort guests and members of the Turnberry Isle Country Club. These new services will connect with existing facilities that include a zero-entry pool and a lazy river. It also includes twenty five luxury private cabins for relaxation, two private gardens for events and a new retail store. One of the two new restaurants, Surf House Bar & Grill, is presented as an elegant restaurant and two-story outdoor bar. Surf House offers elevated dishes that adapt to the tropical environment such as churrasco of swordfish, steamed mussels, shrimp ceviche and a blackened mahi mahi sandwich, among others. The second new restaurant, Freestyle, will serve as a fast food service place and is designed to meet the needs of the family and complete Tidal Cove’s food and beverage offerings with items such as homemade pizza and gelato.
Finally, the GMCVB announced that Gloria and Emilio Estefan reopened their Hotel Cardozo. The property has reopened on May 15. It is worth remembering that it is located in South Beach and US $ 15 million have been invested in its refurbishment. With that, the historic Art Deco hotel debuted with 41 completely renovated rooms and suites, an interior lobby area and the new BiCE Cucina Miami restaurant at the level of Cardozo’s main street. With its roots in the famous Miami Beach region since 1939, the new Cardozo is launched as a renovated icon in the center of one of the liveliest neighborhoods in the city, and as a more personal project for its famous owners.
