TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – During a meeting of the Florida Cabinet, Governor Rick Scott recognized small business Knight Enterprises with the Governor’s Business Ambassador Award. Knight Enterprises is a Florida-based company that provides communications infrastructure. Knight Enterprises was founded in 1982 and is a leader for veteran employment. Using the Veterans Florida Business Grant Program, this company has hired and trained 48 veterans.
Governor Scott said, “Thanks to hard-working businesses like Knight Enterprises, we’ve created more than 1.5 million private-sector jobs across Florida since December 2010. Not only is this company dedicated to Florida families, but Knight Enterprises is also a leader in helping the veterans who have served our country get a great job.”
