Ft. Lauderdale, Florida – Everglades Swamp Tours is a professional, family-owned Airboat Touring Company that specializes in private air boat rides into the Everglades. Our experienced guides take riders into Mother Nature’s Wetlands for an opportunity to see rare and unique birds, turtles, fish, snakes, flowers, plants and the ultimate predator- the American Alligator. In addition, the guides interact and take the time to educate the riders, making frequent stops to point out some native and non-native species that call this ecosystem home.
Everglades Swamp Tours offers two types of tours – private and group tours. Our private tours are anywhere from 1-2 hours long and they are done on smaller, fully customized boats, giving the rider better access to their guide. In addition, by booking a private tour, the rider is able to tailor their trip based on what it is they really want to see. So an avid bird watcher can request a bird watching excursion, a turtle enthusiast can be taken to see basking turtles, an Alligator seeker can request an up close and personal meet and greet , etc. With our private tours, we cater to the customer to ensure they get the experience they were most hoping for.
On a group tour, we offer a 1-hour, interactive and educational ride into the Everglades with one of our experienced guides. With other touring companies, riders only get 30 minutes and the group sizes tend to be much larger- 25 people plus per boat. These other companies tend to have a set route, a set dialogue, a set pattern of what they show riders- it’s impersonal and the interaction is limited between the driver and guest. In addition, a 30-minute tour is a very short amount of time and the rider is not going to get to see much and/or get a feel for the Everglades. That’s why our 1-hour group tours are better than the competition- we interact with our riders, our group sizes are smaller and we make it a more personable experience.
