The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be conducting regularly-scheduled garbage, bulky trash and recycle pick up on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24, 2017, for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Residents whose garbage, bulky trash and recycle are always collected on Thursday or Friday should place their items out as they usually do. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to call 311 or(305) 468-5900.
Residents are reminded to:
- Place garbage, recycle carts and bulky trash out in front of their home on the public right of way and away from phones/cable/electricity lines, under trees, utility poles, fire hydrants, fences, vehicles and/or 5 feet away from any structure.
Residents can also dispose of their bulky items at the Department of Solid Waste, Mini Dump Facility which will also be open on Thursday and Friday. Please refer below for more information:
