On Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 Francis Suarez became the 33rd Mayor of the City of Miami. In a private ceremony at noon, his wife Gloria held the Bible while he took the Oath of Office officiated by City Clerk Todd Hannon.
A public swearing-in ceremony for the community took place at 4 pm at Dinner Key Marina at Regatta Park with hundreds in attendance. Click here for a copy of his prepared remarks.
