Cool off this Summer at Ichetucknee Springs State Park

FORT WHITE, Fla. (May 2017) –Ichetucknee Springs State Park now offers tube rentals for the first time within the park, kicking-off the Memorial Day Weekend and the beginning of the summer season.

This new service offers the convenience of one-stop purchase and pick-up of tube rentals within the Ichetucknee Springs State Park, providing more time to enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Ichetucknee River as park guests journey downstream through shaded hammocks of stately cypress, maple, oak and pine. Get up-close to Florida wildlife on the shores and underwater, including otters, turtles, manatee, deer, birds of prey, wading birds and a variety of fish.

The park’s concessionaire also offers canoe, kayak and paddleboard rentals in addition to all-day transportation services to transport guests and watercraft within the park.

Visitors to Ichetucknee Springs State Park may now purchase and pick-up tube rentals and transportation wristbands at the General Store located within the park’s South entrance from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Visitors are welcome to bring their own tubes or rent from a local vendor.

From the south, take I-75 north to exit 399. Take U.S. 441 north to the city of High Springs. Take U.S. 27 north to Ft. White, stay on U.S. 27 north approximately 4 miles to the South Park Entrance. The park is open from 8 a.m. to sundown.
