Wellington, FL. April 16, 2021.- The Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (FSHCC) announced the appointment of Daniel Martell, Vice President of State Legislative Affairs for Florida Power & Light Company, to the FSHCC’s Board of Governors.

Daniel Martell joined Florida Power & Light in June of 2016. Daniel serves as VP of Legislative Affairs for FPL, Florida’s largest investor owned utility based in Juno Beach. Prior to FPL, he served as the President and CEO of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County, which is a nonprofit business advocacy organization in Palm Beach County, Florida. Daniel also served as VP of Real Estate for Florida Crystals Corporation. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, and a BA degree from the University of Florida. Daniel has served on multiple statewide and local nonprofit boards and continues to serve his community. He is a native of Jacksonville and currently resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Cheryl, and three children.
