TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, during a meeting of the Florida Cabinet, Governor Scott recognized Julian Correa, 25, with the Governor’s Young Entrepreneur Award. Correa is the CEO of KnightSpeed Moving, a full-service moving, packing and labor services company with 30 employees across multiple locations in Orlando, Tampa and South Florida. Correa started KnightSpeed Moving in 2013 while studying finance at the University of Central Florida, with help from the university’s Blackstone LaunchPad program.
Governor Scott said, “It’s great to recognize Julian Correa with the Young Entrepreneur Award today for his dedication to start his own business. Job creators like Julian have helped create nearly 1.5 million jobs across the state over the past seven years, and we will keep fighting to help them grow and add opportunities for Floridians.”
